Of Con men and the media

India doesn't have a shortage of conmen for sure .. right from a sadhu who claimed he could walk on water to a man who claimed he could convert water into petrol. The media has given full pubilicity to these people who have later found to be conmen. They don't seem to have learned too much from the past considering the frenzy caused by this self proclaimed "whiz kid" from UP.

How can you expect your media to check other sources (e.g. NASA's website) when they can't even check their own writing?

"On its website, NASA does on even list the so-called International Scientist Discovery examination"Or is this some variant of "British English" which, when translated, means:

On its website, NASA does in the evening list the International Scientist Discovery examination...?

Maybe its a British conspiracy .. the whole issue takes a murky turn as the "whizkids" family members insist he took the NASA exam in London, UK. How weird is that??
